Merkel ruled out German participation in the war in Syria

German Chancellor Angela Merkel ruled out the possibility of participation of their country in a military operation in Syria. However, she noted that Berlin embeded everything possible to bring the warring parties thought on “the inadmissibility of the use of chemical weapons”.

“There is a lot of evidence that the Syrian regime used such weapons” — quoted Merkel, Sueddeutsche Zeitung.

The Chancellor also noted that Germany relies on the investigation of the alleged himataki in the Duma for the OPCW.
