Poroshenko urged the West to boycott 2018 FIFA world Cup


After the Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin call for the West to strengthen sanctions against Russia and boycott the world Cup 2018 in the Russian stadiums was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

In an interview with German mass media company Funke Mediengruppe, the Ukrainian leader said he counts on the support of its initiatives from the new government of Germany.

Poroshenko confirmed Ukraine relies on large supplies of modern weapons mainly from the USA and from Canada, France or Lithuania.

At the same time, the Ukrainian President hopes that the promotion of Berlin to send to the Donbass UN peacekeeping mission, because “only in this way can be implemented Minsk agreement”. And until it is ascertained their full implementation, “no easing of sanctions taken against Russia, should not be”.
