The Pentagon commented on the transfer of su-57 on the base Hamim

In the us military were reluctant to accept information about the appearance in Syria of Russian fifth generation fighter aircraft su-57. According to Pentagon spokesman Eric Pachon, these aircraft will not have any impact on the ongoing Western coalition military operations.

Later, the Russian defense Ministry confirmed the authenticity of these images, explaining that these machines are there to pass experimental troop operation in military terms. Military expert Viktor murakhovski explained “MK”, that this type of aircraft will solve old tasks: prospecting, targeting ground targets, air attacks on ground targets. However, he noted that with the new aircraft arrive and the new ammo, which also will be tested in Syria.

In the state Duma believe that the emergence in Syria of this kind of machines can become a limiting factor for the air force of some countries who regularly violate the airspace of the Arab Republic.

However, the Pentagon gave a very restrained comment on the matter, pointing out that these aircraft do not carry any threats to the operations of the Western coalition forces. “We do not believe that these fighters are a threat to our operations in Syria, we will continue to carry out properly,” said Pachon.

He also pointed to the fact that the deployment of new fighters in Syria would contradict the statements of the Kremlin about the reduction of its troops in the region.
