Representatives of Russia tried for 2 million dollars to buy the remains of the great Prince of Kiev Yaroslav the Wise, writes Lviv “Express” with reference to Director of the National reserve Sophia of Kyiv Nelia Kukovalska. She claims she has an appropriate written evidence from a person involved in the bidding for this issue in 2016-2017.
The article says that the remains are kept in the temple of the Holy Trinity in Brooklyn (USA).
According to Kukovalskaya, the priests of the temple refused to sell the remains of the Prince for two reasons. First, consider the amount is insufficient, and secondly, “afraid” for incoming U.S. authorities letters from Ukraine on the wanted list of relics.
