The UK foreign office accused Russia of cyber attack using a virus NotPetya

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of great Britain has made accusations against Russia of involvement in the cyber attack using a virus NotPetya last summer.

“The attack demonstrated repeated contempt for Ukrainian sovereignty. The reckless use of the virus disrupted the work of organizations across Europe and cost hundreds of millions of pounds,” reads a written statement, Deputy foreign Minister of the United Kingdom, Tariq Ahmad. Teks statement quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Ministry urged Russia to “become a responsible member of the international community,” the statement said. Thus, according to the Agency, any evidence and sources of information in the document is not given.
