Experts Kudrinsky “Committee of civil initiatives” appreciated the campaign of the presidential candidates to collect signatures and came to the conclusion that some of them could not collect required for the registration number, they claimed. Question the experts was the fact that some of the nominees, such as Maxim suraykin and Sergei Baburin, spent too little money on a costly campaign. One of the participants of the presidential campaign, explained in conversation with “MK”, whereby he managed to save.
The authors of the report of the “Committee of civil initiatives” indicate that the campaign of collecting signatures is a costly enterprise, and hence the part of the candidates or underestimated their expenses or in reality, were not going to need to record the number of signatures.
The document stated that the candidate from the “Communists of Russia” Maxim suraykin and candidate of the “Russian national Union” Sergey Baburin did not spend on the services of collecting signatures, so the campaign has cost them in the 416 and 311 thousand, respectively. Experts believe that in fact collect the required number of signatures only with the help of volunteers impossible. So, according to them Ksenia Sobchak has spent on its campaign to collect signatures 4.3 million rubles, and Grigory Yavlinsky — 20.6 million rubles. Although the Committee believes that these data “raise a reasonable doubt about the honesty of the collection of signatures”, but “cannot serve as a basis for final conclusions.”
Maxim suraykin in conversation with “MK” accused the experts of the “Committee of civil initiatives” in “incompetence”, “These people think that everything should work only for the money. They think that morality, beliefs, principles can be measured by money.”
The politician said that he was able to gather the required number of signatures due to extensive party structure in the regions. “We had 64 staff. We have selected the best of our activists — about 7000 people, and as our party has already taken part in more than 400 election campaigns, we have accumulated vast experience, he said. Of course, the vast majority of them worked for free. Remained in our country people that have convictions and conscience. But the liberals, who prepared this report, do not understand”.
Our source also denied allegations that his staff did not pay signature collectors: “Notarization of signature collectors, fortunately, was not very expensive — 70-80 thousand rubles. Of course, some of our collectors worked for reasonable money. For the bourgeois candidate of the capitalist for the money to collect signatures would be impossible.”
