Yabloko demanded to stop the re-screening of the film “Putin” on TV

The Chairman of the partyYabloko” Emilia Slabunov appealed to the Central election Commission (CEC) of Russia with a demand to stop the re-run of Oliver stone’s “Putin” on the First channel, reports the website of the party. According to the statement, such a display could be interpreted as illegal campaigning.

Yabloko believes that the screening violated articles 49, 50, 51, 52 of the law “On elections of President of the Russian Federation”.

“Placement of this film is not paid from the electoral Fund of Vladimir Putin, and the show runs until the beginning of the permitted period of campaigning in mass media”, – stated in the message.
