The Ombudsman opened an investigation into the removal of Saakashvili from Ukraine


The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for human rights Valeriya Lutkovska on Tuesday, February 13, launched an investigation in connection with the detention and deportation from Ukraine to Poland the ex-Governor of Odessa region and the odious former Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili, reports UNIAN.

“The proceedings opened, so far no results,” said the Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada.

Lutkovska stressed that production opened at the personal initiative of the Ombudsman, when there are any potential human rights violations.
