Saakashvili told how his grandmother saved Stalin from the gendarmes

The ex-President of Georgia and former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili said that his great-grandmother at the time, saved Joseph Stalin.

“My great-grandmother Tamara told me how he had saved Stalin from the Tsar’s gendarmes drew his hand from the house of her father, a wealthy industrialist,” wrote Saakashvili in Facebook.

According to him, Stalin is “repaid by confiscation of property and destruction of her father and brother.”

The politician pointed out that I remembered this story after watching the movie “Death of Stalin”, which he liked (and the Russian Ministry of culture). “Super cool movie”, – the politician noted.
