Former President of Georgia gave interview to TV channel “Rustavi 2”, which was declared adopted by the Ukrainian authorities decision to deport him to Poland. According to him, the Immigration service of Ukraine has already adopted a corresponding decision. He also added that he was not detained, as the authorities gave him the opportunity to prepare for deportation.
“The Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine stated that I did not linger, so I can prepare for deportation from the country,” — said the former head of the Odessa regional administration.
Authorities will not send Saakashvili to Georgia, fearing mass protests, which could begin in this scenario, the politician believes. During his detention in Ukraine took to the streets around 60 thousand people, reminded Saakashvili.
