The number of Ukrainians, who applied for asylum in Russia

Russia’s permanent representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich said at a meeting of the OSCE permanent Council in Vienna, 1 April 2014, i.e. from the beginning of the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine, 1 million 700 thousand citizens of Ukraine appealed to the competent authorities of Russia for citizenship.

As TASS reports, Lukashevich also noticed that an even greater number of Ukrainians regularly enter Russia to work.

“The authorities come up with propaganda labels like “aggressor”, people vote with their feet,” he added.
