Belarus is ready to send peacekeepers to the Donbas to resolve the situation

Belarus is ready to send its peacekeepers to the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine to resolve the situation in the region. This statement was made by Belarusian foreign Minister Vladimir Makei in an interview with the newspaper “Izvestia”. The Minister recalled that such an opportunity the head of state Alexander Lukashenko was made in 2014. While Mackay noted that the country maintains an impartial stance towards all parties to the conflict.

“We are not looking for any laurels. But the conflict in our region, in our family. In the truest sense of the word. Thus, an additional way to help conflicting parties can become the input to the Donbass peacekeepers – of course, including and Belarusian.
