Signed on the Polish law on “Bandera ideology” disappointed US


According to U.S. Secretary Rex Tillerson, the us administration is disappointed with the decision of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda to sign the law on the Institute of national remembrance, which establishes criminal liability for statement in the media of involvement of poles in the Holocaust, as well as the denial of the crimes of Ukrainian Bandera against the Polish people.

“The entry into force of the new law will affect freedom of speech and scientific research” — said Tillerson, noting that the term “Polish death camps is painful and is able to mislead”. In this case, it is necessary to apply not the law, and debate and education, said the American diplomat.
