The CEC registered Putin’s candidate for President


The current head of state Vladimir Putin was a candidate for a new presidential term, decided by the Central election Commission (CEC) on Tuesday, February 6. Policies approved by the first candidate of all the candidates, collecting signatures, reports “Interfax”.

As you know, to Putin, running for elections as an independent candidate candidates were registered nominees from the parliamentary parties CPRF and LDPR Pavel Grudinin and Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

The CEC registered Putin unanimously, corresponding certificate was awarded to Sergei Kabyshev – Trustee candidate. Earlier it was reported that his signatures have been tested, and only 0.39% of their total number were invalid.

The CEC Chairman, Ella Pamfilova said on Tuesday that all come down to the Commission, the candidates successfully passed the test. “This is unprecedented,” said she.

She said that the reason not to register any of them, the CEC does not have.

Recall that these applicants — TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, the representative of the “Communists of Russia” Maxim suraykin, the Ombudsman for entrepreneurs Boris Titov, Sergey Baburin from the Russian national Union, and Grigory Yavlinsky from Yabloko.
