The Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine has opened a criminal case against visited the Crimea of German MPs

“The Prosecutor’s office of Autonomous Republic of Crimea” continues to work in Kiev after joining the Peninsula to Russia has opened a criminal investigation after deputies of the Federal Republic of Germany has visited Crimea, reported on the official website of the Ukrainian Supervisory authority.

The German MPs are accused of violating “the order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory”.

“It is established that on 3 February 2018 in violation of a certain order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and departure from it, in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea arrived citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, which had planned to use his trip to meet with representatives of the Russian occupying authorities to discuss with them ways of establishing contacts with the German side,” – said the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s office.

“Currently, checks all the circumstances of the criminal offence”, — added in Department.

Earlier in the German government were critical of the visit of German MPs to the Russian Peninsula.
