Kremlin: Russia will deal a crushing blow to the terrorists downed su-25

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov on Monday, February 5, said that Air and space forces (VKS) Russia will deal a crushing blow to the terrorists in the Syrian Arab Republic for the downed aircraft su-25 in Syria’s Idlib province. He assured that despite the withdrawal of troops from Syria, the Armed forces of Russia has enough forces and opportunities to take revenge on the terrorists for the death of the Russian pilot.

“When President Vladimir Putin spoke about the completion of the active stage of the operation to support the Syrian Armed forces in their counter-terrorism work, he said that persisting and remaining potential of the Russian Armed forces in points of temporary basing sufficient to ensure that, if necessary, to strike at the terrorists a crushing blow. This point strikes it and goes”, — said the speaker of the Kremlin.

According to the press Secretary of the Russian leader, a crushing blow to the terrorists were provoked by their attack on the Russian su-25, RIA “Novosti”.

“They were provoked by the tragic event, when terrorists were shot down by our aircraft, the pilot died heroically, we all condolences to the families and friends of the pilot and are proud of our heroes. Naturally, this tragic accident was followed by decisive action to curb the terrorist activity”, — concluded the press-Secretary of the head of state.

Earlier in the Russian defense Ministry announced the destruction of more than 30 terrorists in the group strike with precision weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib.

Pilot su-25 Roman Filipov presented by the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu to the title of Hero of Russia posthumously.
