Croatia protested “false” deliveries of the MiG-21 from Ukraine

The Ministry of defence of Croatia demanded from Ukraine to send the new MiG-21 in the framework of the agreement on the supply. According to TASS, according to the Croatian military at least four of the assigned plane was poorly repaired and unfit to fly.

Ukraine purchased the former in service of Bulgaria until 1988 planes, repainted them and sold to Croatia as “deeply modernized”.

It is reported that the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, recently visited Zagreb during the visit admitted that the agreement was “not quite done”. While the Croatian side paid on the contract $22 million.
