Authorized under the RF President on protection of entrepreneurs ‘ rights, the leader of the Party of growth Boris Titov reported that met in London with the runaway Russian entrepreneurs and some of them expressed a desire to return to Russia. According to Titov, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has handed over a list of such people.
“He is the President,” – said Titov, correspondent of TASS on the question of the fate of the list of entrepreneurs in the UK hiding from Russian justice who wished to return home and whose cases can be reviewed. The business Ombudsman did not mention any specific names, but said that such people are more than a dozen.
“While the list has not been formed yet, because there continue to be requests,” – said Titov.
He also said that the case of these businessmen alike. All of them had to leave and ended up in jail. But instituting proceedings many of them for 20 years can’t return to Russia, although it’s already no complaints, and the Interpol has removed their names from the database.
According to Titov, in the UK and in five other countries now there are people that accept such applications from entrepreneurs who wish to settle relations with Russia and cooperate with them.
“We hope that some businesses will simply close, they will be removed from the investigation,” he said, adding that perhaps in the near future the problem will be solved one of the businessmen is located in Cyprus and he will be able to return.
Titov also said that the envisaged compensation of the damage in some cases, after which they will be legally closed.
Commenting on an earlier statement by the Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of great Britain Ben Wallace on the audit of the assets of the oligarchs, including from Russia, Titov said that it was “very bad signal”.
“This suggests that already the political leadership of England begins to play a completely different policy, begins to fight with rich people, it will lose this status of a refuge for the rich,” he said.
