Sobchak in horror and shock from the verdict of the White

The candidate in presidents of the Russian Federation from “Civil initiatives” Ksenia Sobchak commented on the verdict to the ex-Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh. According to women-politics, the verdict is unfair.

“I’m in horror and shock. In high school I read “the GULAG Archipelago” by Alexander Solzhenitsyn and couldn’t understand what it’s like to go to jail for 8 or 10 years without committing any crime?”- Sobchak wrote in his blog.

It reminds about the sentences of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Alexei Ulyukayev, noting that now “no one should remain indifferent”.

“I love my country and want to live in it. But I don’t know how to live in the same country with those who planned and carried out these acts,” – said Sobchak.
