Protesters blocked border of Ukraine and Poland


On Saturday morning dozens of people blocked the road to the border checkpoint “shehyni” in the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Protesters unhappy with the law on the new procedure of crossing the border, according to Zaxid.net. Under the new rules, Ukraine can import duty-free goods worth up to 150 euros (and to thousands of euros at airports) and weighing up to 50 pounds, provided that the citizen was absent in the country for more than 24 hours and leaving her outside is not more than once every 72 hours.
