Klimkin has threatened action against German companies in the Crimea


Ukraine can “punish” the German companies which are working in Crimea despite the EU sanctions, said in an interview with Rheinische Post, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

The diplomat said that in Kiev many legal mechanisms that could be used, and while the Ukrainian authorities are looking for an informed decision. Details he did not disclose due to privacy issue.

Klimkin previously cited as Volkswagen and Adidas. According to Kiev, in Crimea there are many automakers, although the EU has banned companies under its jurisdiction

to Finance the business on the Peninsula and to invest in transactions related to the Crimea.
