Saakashvili boiling: announced the resumption of protests against Poroshenko

Today took place the court regarding the status of their stay in Ukraine, the former President of Georgia and leader of the “Movement of new forces” of Mikhail Saakashvili. Earlier the politician said that he had “enough” and announced plans to conduct on 4 February “March for impeachment” of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. However, experts interviewed by “MK” I believe that the protest movement of the disgraced politician – “fading process” in the near future the decision on his deportation.

Kyiv appeal administrative court once again has postponed consideration of the complaint of the Management of GMS on deprivation eks-the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili refugee status until February 5. According to the politician, the Ukrainian authorities are afraid to make a decision about his deportation, so once again not to provoke people to go to rallies. Next – demanding the resignation of the President of Ukraine Poroshenko held just on 4 Feb.

Another accusation against Poroshenko, Saakashvili powerhouses for the resumption of the shares, became the Maldives vacation of the President. The leader of the “movement of new forces” in their vystupleniya now the head of Ukraine only as Peter Maldives, no calls. The attorney General Lutsenko received the nickname — Yuri Seychelles as your vacation spent in the Seychelles.

For this reason Thursday near the building of the presidential Administration held a flash mob under the title “a Suitcase-station-Maldives”. Activists came to the square in swimwear, beach shorts, vests and sunglasses. Some of them were holding pineapples and rubber rings. During the event were announced the February 4 rally at Poroshenko’s resignation.

It is obvious that the reasons for the protest of Ukrainian citizens are much more than just a vacation Poroshenko. This is the situation around the anti-corruption court, and the pension reform adopted in January of this year. However, experts interviewed by “MK”, believe that the stock Saakashvili will not collect a large number of people.

-I think that’s already fading process, in fact, Saakashvili has not proven itself as an effective or respected politician. He has failed to convince the majority of citizens, or at least a sane number of people that he can lead them. By and large, his rallies are reminiscent of the campaign of Alexei Navalny in Russia, that is, of course, there is a circle of people who are guided by it — mad or half-mad people, idealists and those who hold naive political views. But most people does not notice it. The only thing that Kiev can pay attention to is the overlapping of the Central streets of the city. In the Parliament Saakashvili are not that serious and not at all.

Denis Denisov, Director of the Ukrainian branch of the CIS Institute

Saakashvili has no choice but to somehow remind yourself. If he’s not going to do something about it quickly forget . Expect something from these super-massive rallies at the moment is not necessary. Yes, he uses broad, generally acceptable rhetoric for citizens of Ukraine. Another thing is that his very identity is ambiguous and not credible, he was not taken seriously. Will soon be dotted in the courts his unlawful presence in Ukraine. Saakashvili deported to any third country or will give Georgia, where he awaits a prison sentence.
