“Understand the expression” Putin did not like the presidential ambitions Sobchak

Declared his presidential ambitions, the television presenter and socialite Ksenia Sobchak on Wednesday, 31 January, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin was seriously surprised about its intention to join the presidential race. It is almost sure that Putin first learned of her “backswing” to compete for the highest office in the country from her. “He’s really very surprised”, – said Sobchak.

Sobchak in an interview with RBC told interesting details of the conversation with President Vladimir Putin at the meeting, the formal reason for which was an interview for a film about the life and career of her father, the first mayor of St. Petersburg Anatoly Sobchak.

“Knowing that I have an interview, I felt right, since to meet the President to tell him in person that going to go on elections”, — said Sobchak, positioning itself as a “candidate against all”.

To the question, why warn a person about “tenure” which she openly and defiantly challenging acts, the socialite said that she brought up. She is confident that “opponents have to say all in person, if possible”.

“To come to him for an interview, say nothing, and then after a few weeks he would have learned from the Newspapers that I decided to take this step? That seems weird, especially because my family had a history with the President”, — said Sobchak.

The presenter also said: “I have not got the feeling that he liked what I said.”

To the question about why she had a feeling, Sobchak said that Putin has “a certain facial expression,” which “says about it”.

“He looked with that face”, she explained.

Previously Sobchak said that when she announced his presidential ambitions Putin, he replied: “Everyone has the right to make their own decisions and have to bear responsibility.” The head of state said that to run for President – a constitutional right, and the success Sobchak “depends on what it will offer the program, how to build your campaign.”
