Sauli Niinistö became the President of Finland

In the presidential election in Finland by a wide margin defeated the current head of state Sauli Niinistö. Participating in the campaign as an independent candidate, he received 62.7% of the votes, other candidates less than 15%..

Addressing the citizens, the newly elected President said that he was pleased to feel himself a President of the great country. “Our country is perfect, we will make sure that it remains like this. We will also do our best to make our country remained open,” he said.
