The opposition plans to hold protest actions against participation in the presidential elections in Russia are not a personal call, the current head of state Vladimir Putin. This opinion was expressed by the representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, answering a corresponding question of journalists.

According to Peskov, in this case we are talking only about compliance or non-compliance of Russian law, “Interfax”. He stressed that the issue of harmonization of such protests is administered by regional and municipal authorities.
“In some cities, these actions are permitted in some cities accepted the alternative proposal, which the applicants agree or not, that’s fine” – quoted Peskov Agency. The speaker of the Kremlin recalled that holding an unauthorized rally in defiance of ban will lead to certain consequences from the point of view of the law.
As for the major protests, while aware of the plans of Alexei Navalny to hold a nationwide campaign for the boycott of the presidential election. About it the politician said after the failure of the CEC to allow him to participate in the elections. Today it became known that Navalny has reached the last opportunity to appeal the CEC decision in the Russian courts, having been refused by the Presidium of the Supreme court.
