10 years of deprivation of liberty: in Ukraine sentenced a Russian Ageev


A ten-year sentence has received a Russian citizen Viktor Ageev according to the decision of the district court of the Novoaydarsky Luhansk region. Ukrainian justice accused Ageeva, in cooperation with the country considered a terrorist organization by the LC. He also was charged with illegal possession and carrying of firearms and ammunition.

The detainee in the summer of last year in Ukraine the citizen of Russia Victor Ageev has received ten years of imprisonment. The verdict rendered Novoaydarskiy district, Luhansk oblast court that heard the case Ageeva. The Russians were charged in the service contract in the self-proclaimed Luhansk people’s Republic, which Ukraine is considered a terrorist organization, and illegal possession and carrying of firearms and ammunition.

On the court verdict said defender Victor Ageeva Chevguz in the social network Facebook. The lawyer called the verdict too harsh and said he intends to appeal.

“We will appeal the verdict and the issues of qualification and punishment”, – assured Chevguz.

Four fighters of LNR was abducted Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Donbas in the area Bakhmutskaya track at the end of June last year. At the same time in Kiev said that there are current Russian contract servicemen, referring to Victor Ageev. The Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation these statements refuted.
