The leader “the Left front” Sergey Udaltsov is not a confidant of the presidential candidate from the Communist party and the people’s Patriotic forces Pavel Grudinina and from the outset had not planned them to be, said to “Interfax” the head a press-services of Communist party Alexander Yushchenko.

Sergei Udaltsov and his wife Anastasia to the list of trusted individuals Grudinina, which the CEC registered on January 24.
Alexander Yushchenko told the news Agency that Udaltsov is not a Trustee Grudinina. “He recused himself, believing that will bring more benefits as time in the free work”, – said Victor Yushchenko.
“Whoever filed the paperwork, just casually looked, because initially the position Udaltsov was such that he didn’t plan to be Trustee, understanding the overall political situation”, – Yushchenko said.
According to him, Sergei Udaltsov “actively works in the interests of the candidate Grudinina, conducting propaganda work in its field among the supporters of the “Left front”.
Yushchenko also added that “for Grudinina from the “Left front” a Trustee is a Maxim Shevchenko and Anastasia Udaltsova, i.e. “Left front” is presented.
Today, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist party state Duma Deputy Yuri Afonin said that Udaltsov appeared in the list of trusted identities “due to a technical error”, writes “Kommersant”.
In the previous presidential elections in 2012, leader of the “Left front” was a Trustee of the candidate from the Communist party Gennady Zyuganov.
In 2014, Udaltsov was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for organizing riots on Bolotnaya square in may 2012. Udaltsov was released in August of 2017.
