Lavrov criticized the ban in the EU on religious paraphernalia

The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the opening of the XXVI International Christmas educational readings, criticized introduced in some EU countries, the ban on religious paraphernalia.

“The parents denied the right to educate children in the spirit of Christian morality. This creates a breeding ground for xenophobia and intolerance, opens the path to self-destruction society,” he said.

According to TASS, Lavrov called for “vigorously oppose the pseudo-liberal approaches in promoting a destructive model of behavior.
