Putin proposed to exempt judges from the business functions

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Supreme court, offered to free the judges from non-core business and organizational functions.

According to the Russian leader, these duties could be transferred to the administrators, as suggested by the Supreme court.

“I hope that this will help to improve the quality of the cases to the objectivity and independence of the judiciary, reduce corruption risks and to unload the heads of courts from non-core business functions”, — concluded Putin.
