In the state Duma called “absurd” the demand of the Council of Europe to pay a fee

Deputy head of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei chepa on Tuesday, January 23, responded to the request of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe about Russia’s obligations on payment of membership fee to the organization in February 2018, calling it illogical and unreasonable, according to RT.

“We, of course, no one for we are not asking you to pay. We are going to pay their bills, if these accounts are correct. In this case ask us a contribution and give us the opportunity to work is absurd. We were denied the right to vote, and want to get money. We believe that it is unwise and illogical to do so. Our fee will be paid for as soon as they lifted restrictions associated with deprivation of the right to Express their point of view,” — said the Deputy of the lower house of the Russian Parliament.
