TV presenter, journalist and socialite Ksenia Sobchak, who declared his presidential ambitions and is already nominated for the position of head of state from the party “Civil initiative”, formerly called the Ukrainian Crimea from the point of view of international law, made another high-profile controversial statement that the Russian inhabitants of the Peninsula are “defective in relation to the world.”
“We have all said that Crimea is part of Russia. But why in the Crimea, for which you so stand up, there is no branch of the savings Bank? Why these people can’t go abroad? Why Crimea is not performed at every match of the world Cup? Because nobody will come. Because the savings Bank will be fined, and international companies falling under the sanctions”, — said Sobchak his position of “inferiority” of the Crimean people.
According to the presidential hopeful, Crimea will only “poorer”, and by the inhabitants of the Peninsula will have hard times – they will live worse and worse.
“The international community will press and we will spend more budget money on Crimea. I don’t want Russian people to such a fate,” said the presenter.
Sobchak posing in the March presidential election in 2018 as the “candidate against all”, also said that currently the Crimean are not “part of a large nation and full-fledged people.”
“Now the residents of Crimea are defective in relation to the world. I’m against it”, — said Sobchak on air of radio “KP”.
The radio station called the man from Simferopol, which challenged the view Sobchak, saying: “People live here well, I can see that. In Ukraine, people lived poor, it is not the same families for two or three cars. Come to Simferopol, look, I have personally met at the airport” – he suggested socialite.
“I obey the law. By today’s law, the Crimea is part of Russia, whether I like it or not, the ballots of Crimean residents will be taken by the CEC. I would have these voices came from, I for people. I want to live well, no matter what country. Now Crimeans have a lot of problems, and I want them to decide,” she concluded.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the issue of Crimea is closed completely, as Crimeans voted in a referendum for joining the Peninsula to Russia. “The issue historically closed”, – said the head of the Russian state.
