Director of the Foundation of progressive politics, a regular contributor to “MK” and a member of the Union of journalists of Russia Oleg Bondarenko said on January 14 that in connection with the prohibition of Polish to him for 3 years denied entry to the Schengen area. The sanction came into force on 17 November 2017, and he learned about it only now, after almost 2 months.

Bondarenko told “MK”, why he flew to Berlin and that is going to do before:
– I arrived in Berlin on 14 January at the invitation of the Left party of Germany at the event “the Political beginning of the year”, which took place on the same day. In the framework I, on behalf of the Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov was to invite the head of the “left” wagenknecht to arrive in Russia to support the candidate in presidents of Russia of Pavel Grudinina.
The last time I was in Europe, in Italy, at the beginning of December 2017. Any problems I had. This time on the German border, I was told that on 17 November Poland has demanded to forbid me entry into the European Union for 3 years, until 17 November 2020. The ban applies to the entire Schengen area. The guards Germany can’t do me no exceptions and deported to Russia.
In Warsaw, no one even explained his decision. Last time in Poland I was in 2015, Polish events, I also do not comment. Earlier, a similar way the poles closed the entrance to Alexei Martynov, Igor Korotchenko and several other Russian scientists. Perhaps they are trying to get back at us for the position we are advocating in Russian foreign policy.
But if the poles believe that in this way they will be able to close my entry to Europe, they are deeply mistaken. Two German organizations have already offered to send me an invitation to deliver a national visa.
