The Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban believes that the EU policy towards Russia is too one-sided, and therefore wrong. In his opinion, in the case of Russia, need to demonstrate not only force, but also the willingness to cooperate.
Orban in an interview with Welt am Sonntag noted that Hungary has a conditional influence on the situation, because the word remains the major countries of the EU, reports TASS. Hungary, according to the Prime Minister, refused the right of veto on the issue of sanctions, so as not to undermine the cohesion of the European Union.
Prime Minister of Hungary said that in Europe, to speak out about the Russian leadership in a positive way is very risky. Orban has a chance in this interview to the newspaper he acknowledged that President Vladimir Putin has made Russia a strong country, visible in world politics. He added that the authorities of the Russian Federation has other priorities: if the EU is freedom, in Russia – above all, the need to keep a United great state.
