Vladimir Putin’s proposal on the transfer of Kiev military ships and aircraft from the Crimea can be seen as a goodwill gesture, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. Earlier, the President said that the Ukrainian technique is “in poor condition” because, after joining the Peninsula to Russia, it has not been served.
Peskov said that even before the beginning of active hostilities in the Donbass part of the equipment was returned to Kiev, but “from the beginning of the bloodshed” in southeastern Ukraine, this process was stopped, RIA Novosti reported.
“It (the offer to return the Ukrainian equipment from Crimea) – another gesture of good will, the political motivation to still get the process of Ukrainian settlement from the dead point”, – said the representative of the Kremlin.
Putin said earlier that Russia more than other countries interested in the implementation of the Minsk agreements, and advocated the continuation of the process of exchange of detainees recalled Sands.
In turn, the Deputy of the state Duma of Sevastopol Dmitry Belik said that the transportation of ships, formerly part of the naval forces of Ukraine will require from Kiev large financial costs, some court can take from the Crimea only in the form of scrap metal. Nevertheless, says Belik, Ukraine can take this step to re – “learn a lot of money under the slogan of return “occupied Crimea” of its combat power”.
