NASA in Hollywood to show the flight through the Orion Nebula

NASA has published a video of the flight through Orion Nebula, which allows to see it from almost any point on Earth.

A frame from the video.

Combining visible and infrared capabilities of space telescopes “Hubble” and “Spitzer”, astronomers and specialists in visualization at NASA have created three-dimensional three-minute video about the brightest diffuse nebula, showing the object from inside.

Using actual scientific data along with Hollywood technology, a team of Research Institute of space telescope (Space Telescope Science Institute) in Baltimore and the Center infrared processing and analysis (Caltech/IPAC) in Pasadena presented a detailed multiwavelength visualization of the Orion Nebula.

The surface of the Orion Nebula seen from the Earth, more than four times the size of the full moon. It is located at a distance of about 1344 light years from Earth and is 33 light-years in diameter.
