The United States accused 3 former Soviet republics in violation of religious freedoms

In the US State Department has compiled the annual list of countries that systematically violate religious freedoms of its citizens. This year the list included 10 countries and 3 of them former Soviet republics – Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Also on the list: Myanmar, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia. On special control of the us authorities is Pakistan.

The criteria according to which these countries made the list, the state Department said.
