The state Department has accused three former Soviet republics in violation of religious freedoms


In the updated list of persons involved in violation of religious freedoms States, compiled by the American foreign policy Department, entered Myanmar, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The list is published on the website of the US state Department.

“These symbols should help to improve the situation with respect for religious freedoms in these countries. We recognize that some of these countries are working to improve their relationship to religious freedom, we welcome these initiatives and hope to continue the dialogue”, — said the Agency.
