Mass action dedicated to the 109th anniversary of the birth of the leader of the organization of Ukrainian nationalists Stepan Bandera was held in Kiev. The interior Ministry announced that the procession they were accompanied by local law enforcement. No offences were recorded.

As the channel “112 Ukraine”, the mass action called “For the glory of heroes, for the future kids!” started in the Park named after Taras Shevchenko, dedicated to the birthday of the birth of Stepan Bandera, ended at the Independence square in Kiev.
It is clarified that the event was attended by about a thousand people, activists of the party “Svoboda” and “Pravyi sector” (banned in Russia), as well as organizations of the “national body” and “Congress of Ukrainian nationalists”. Many of the procession participants were holding lit torches.
“The police accompanied the marchers and followed the procedure to prevent any provocations and violations… along the route was on duty crews of the patrol police to ensure safety on the road, was also attracted by the dogs… In a convoy, there were about 1,000 people, some of them with lighted torches”, – is spoken in the message published on the official website of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.
