The U.S. Embassy in Russia has denied accusations of meddling in elections

The press Secretary of the US Embassy in Moscow, Maria Olson rejected the accusations of the head of Russian foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov that Washington, including the American Embassy is constantly interfering in elections in Russia.

“These charges are false and can cause damage,” she said.

Olson also cited allegations of Moscow that the United States supports the Islamic state (banned in Russia).

In her opinion, such statements undermine attempts to build a more stable relationship.
