“Terrible, unjustified sentence, Kudrin wrote on Twitter. — Weak investigation, accusatory. With such injustice, unfortunately, today many”.

About the need for an objective investigation Kudrin said in November, when he wrote that “in the case of “Rosneft” – Ulyukayev still too many questions.”

In 2000-2004, Ulyukaev was the first Deputy of Kudrin in the Finance Ministry, after which he went to work in the Central Bank.

Note that, as recalled by a member of the Council on human rights under the RF President Pavel Chikov, the sentence Ulyukayev was not unique: in June of the current year to 8 years in prison, was also sentenced the former head of the Federal penitentiary service Alexander Reimer for financial fraud in the procurement of electronic bracelets.
