Artificial intelligence has found its “twin” Solar system in the constellation of the Dragon

Astrophysics of the American aerospace Agency NASA and the developers of artificial intelligence AI Google announced that the star system Kepler-90 with new technology was able to detect previously unknown eighth planet. Thus, she was more similar to the Solar system than expected so far.

The system Kepler-90 is located at a distance of about 2.5 thousand light-years from Earth. The new planet, dubbed Kepler-90i, larger than ours, but experts believe that more often it is reminiscent of mercury is relatively small and, in all likelihood, rocky body, heated by its star to 400 degrees Celsius. Unlike the other seven planets, that celestial body failed to be detected by astrophysicists, but the artificial intelligence was able to effectively handle a large amount of information and helped to make this discovery.

As expected, the two most distant from the star planet system Kepler-90 are gas giants, and the rest are either so-called super-earths (large earth-like planet) or so-called “miniature”. Even before it became clear that the system Kepler-90 eight planets, many have noted its similarity to the Solar system — primarily for the reason that relatively small and, most likely, a rocky planet located closer to its center, and gas giants further away from him. At the same time, one of the key differences Kepler-90 is the fact that the planets in its orbit are much closer to each other and to the Central sun than the Earth and its “neighbors”.

It should be noted that today, many experts do not believe that planets in the Solar system only has eight. Two years ago the staff of the California Institute of technology Michael brown and Konstantin Batygin found indirect evidence for the existence of 41 billion kilometers from the Sun planet, which weighs about 10 times more Land and makes a complete revolution around the sun approximately for 15 thousand earthly years. In June this year, representatives of the University of Arizona Katrin Wolf and Ren Malhotra came to the conclusion that in the Kuiper belt “on the outskirts” of the Solar system can be a space, the body size and mass like Mars.
