Approved by the trump Memorandum amended the Directive on national space policy, which seven years ago peed his predecessor Barack Obama.

In the former document it was stated that by 2025, the United States should send a manned spacecraft beyond the moon, including to an asteroid .

By the mid-2030’s Washington was planning to send astronauts to Mars orbit, and then return them to Earth.

When the trump of the Directive has removed a specific date. Now the document says that the United States should be the leader in manned missions in the Solar system, start with the return of astronauts to the moon, and then to proceed to Mars and other destinations.

Meanwhile, the lunar ambitions of the United States have ridiculed the Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov, who reminded that while Americans may not be able to reach the International space station.
