Kiev was delighted with the launch of the Russian trains to bypass Ukraine

In Kiev responded positively to news that the Russian passenger and freight trains was entirely on the movement to bypass the territory of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan, it will help to reduce the risk of terrorist attacks.

Omeljan said he supported the initiative of Russian Railways, and does not see her any negative consequences for Kiev.

Construction of double track electrified railway line started in 2014, after the deterioration of relations between Russia and Ukraine. The total cost of the project amounted to about 56 billion rubles.

Line zhuravka — Millerovo passes through the territory of the Voronezh and Rostov regions, its length is 137 km. The maximum speed of passenger trains through the area is 140 kilometers per hour, truck — 90 miles an hour. According to forecasts, the download this direction in the summer will be about 190 passenger and freight trains per day.
