The head of the IMF urged Ukraine to ensure the independence of anti-corruption structures


The managing Director of the International monetary Fund Christine Lagarde expressed concern about events in Ukraine related to the fight against corruption in the country.

“We are deeply concerned about recent events in Ukraine, which can minimize the progress achieved in the establishment of structures to fight corruption at the highest level”, — said the head of the IMF. In a statement, Lagarde urged the authorities to ensure the independence of anti-corruption structures.
