Sands estimated the chances of Putin’s victory in the upcoming elections

Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin is more likely to win in the upcoming elections, which will be held in March 2018. The day before Putin announced that he will again run for the highest office.

Peskov said that the level of support that is the incumbent President, inaccessible to his opponents. “Yes, Putin is the strongest candidate. Chance (to win), of course, Putin”, — quotes the representative of the Kremlin TV channel “Rain”.

The press Secretary said that Putin has not yet said what form will run for President: party or independent candidate. Who will head the election headquarters of the Russian leader in elections in 2018, is also still unknown.

Asked by reporters about the election program Putin’s press Secretary replied that the President already has “the vision of basic parameters”, and better than anyone. “In what timeframe the program will be finalized and submitted to the attention of the public, I now can not say, yet a little too early,” – said Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.

The decision to participate in the presidential race Vladimir Putin announced Wednesday in Nizhny Novgorod, the rally-concert in honor of the 85th anniversary of Gorky automobile plant. He noted that “the best place and the best occasion” to announce his plans to “probably not”.
