In the Kremlin explained the purpose of the talks between Putin and Assad

Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday the purpose of the meeting of Vladimir Putin with President of Syria Bashar al-Assad on the eve of the trilateral meeting of leaders of Russia, Turkey and Iran on Syria.

According to Peskov, in the course of negotiation of the trilateral meeting, Putin assured the participants that the part of Russia will be conducted appropriate with the Syrian leadership.

“To prepare the ground for those understandings which may be reached tomorrow in Sochi. And to make sure this agreement that may be reached tomorrow, may be viable, and that they did not freeze in the air,” explained Sands.

A spokesman for the Russian leader also said that Assad noted during the meeting that began the process of returning to Syria refugees, who left their jobs in connection with combat operations.

The question under discussion at this meeting, the departure of Assad, Peskov said it was “possible options for a political settlement in Syria.

He also stressed that no Moscow, no other country, can’t see the role of Assad in the future, because it is all the Syrian people.
