The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Serbia: accession to NATO is not interested

Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic in an interview with Russian journalists admitted that the country’s leadership has no plans on joining the North Atlantic Alliance.

“Serbia is not interested in joining NATO or any other international military Alliance. We will continue to adhere to the policy of military neutrality… besides, we have arrangements with Russian President Vladimirom Putin on military-technical cooperation between States… In the framework of these agreements, we have received a good offer for purchase of military equipment that will allow our armed forces to carry out the necessary modernization,” he said.
