Seoul imposed sanctions against Bank officials of the DPRK to Russia and China


The South Korean authorities on Sunday, November 5, has imposed unilateral punitive restrictions against bankers of representative offices of credit institutions of the Democratic people’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Russia, China and Libya, reports Yonhap.

According to the publication, in the black list of the official Seoul were 18 people, including, in particular, the representative of the United Korean development Bank in Moscow, Lee Eun sung, as well as the representative Korean Bank “Teson” (Daesong Bank) in China.

“These people have worked abroad, representing North Korean banks and participating in the supply of money needed to develop weapons of mass destruction,” – said the representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of South Korea.
