Pujdeme called the actions of Madrid, the worst attack on Catalonia after Franco

The head of Catalonia Carles Pujdeme called the management plans of Spain to remove from power the government of the autonomy attack on democracy, “the worst since the dictatorship of Francisco Franco”.

The politician urged to collect the meeting in the Catalan Parliament to discuss the government’s intention to eliminate self-government in the region.

Earlier, local media reported that Pujdeme intends to proclaim the independence of Catalonia on 23 October.
