Poroshenko proposed to abolish parliamentary immunity

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko suggested the Verkhovna Rada from 1 January 2020 to abolish parliamentary immunity. The bill was on the Parliament website. Also the document says that the MPs can be held criminally liable, detained or arrested, even if the Verkhovna Rada will be against.

Recall that such a request previously made by Mikhail Saakashvili, who said that if Poroshenko will refuse to fulfill “the will of the people”, deposed him.
